About us

Eight years on a roof before there was ever a company.

Our owner spent eight years as an installer for other people's companies — tearing off, loading shingles, and watching corners get cut on jobs he had to put his own hands on. In 2011 he started Summit with one truck, one helper, and a rule that hasn't changed since: we do the work ourselves.

Our story

Fifteen years in the same six cities.

We've never opened a second market and we've never bought a lead list. Every job we book comes from a neighbor, a yard sign, or a homeowner who found us after a storm and checked our reviews. That's a slower way to grow a roofing company, and it's the reason we're still standing behind roofs we installed in 2013.

The company is still family run. The owner is on most inspections himself, his wife runs scheduling and permits, and the same four-man crew that started with us in the early days trains everyone we hire. When we say the same crew every job, we mean the people whose names are on your estimate.

We're GAF Master Elite certified, which fewer than three percent of roofing contractors in the country hold. It requires proof of licensing, insurance, and a documented track record — and it's what lets us register manufacturer-backed warranties that cover our workmanship, not just the shingle.

We're licensed and insured in the State of Georgia under GA-RC-2011-4471. Ask any contractor for that number before you let them on your roof. If they hesitate, that's your answer.
