Granules in the gutters
Shingles shed their protective granules when hail strikes. A gutter line full of black sand means the mat underneath is now exposed to UV.

Most Texas policies require notice of loss promptly after the storm, and many carriers enforce a one-year filing window. Older dates are the ones we prioritize.
Do you have damage?
You don't need to climb up. If you spot even one of these, the roof deserves a documented inspection before your claim window closes.

Shingles shed their protective granules when hail strikes. A gutter line full of black sand means the mat underneath is now exposed to UV.

Vents, flashing, and the A/C condenser fins dent before shingles show damage. Adjusters look here first, and so do we.

A hail bruise is soft to the touch and often invisible from the ground. Chalk-marked test squares are how it gets documented.

A spidered skylight dome or a cracked seal is a fast-moving leak path and clear evidence of impact energy.

Pockmarked gutter faces and downspout elbows help establish direction and size of the hail that hit your home.

Brown rings on a ceiling or attic decking staining means water is already in. Do not wait on this one.
Before and after
Every photo is documented the day of inspection and the day of completion. The same set goes into your claim file.

The claim process
From the first inspection to the final invoice, you make one phone call and write one check.
01
We photograph every slope, mark test squares, and measure the hail impacts. You get the report whether or not you file.
02
We give you the date of loss, the damage summary, and the exact language to use. The call takes about ten minutes.
03
We are on the roof with them, report in hand, so nothing gets missed and the scope is agreed on site.
04
Code items, decking, and anything the first scope missed get submitted with documentation until the file is right.
05
One-day tear-off and install on most homes. You pay your deductible. The carrier pays the rest, including depreciation.
What homeowners say
“The first company out told me I had no damage. Ironclad marked twelve hits on the back slope and met my adjuster on the roof. Claim approved in nine days.”
“They tarped the valley the night the storm hit and never asked me for a dollar until the carrier paid. I wrote one check, for my deductible.”
“My first scope came back $6,400 short. They filed the supplement with photos and code sheets and got it corrected. Roof was done in a day.”
Carriers deny claims for late notice and for damage they say came from wear, not weather. A dated, documented inspection is what separates an approval from a denial. Ours is free and takes about 45 minutes.
